Overview
Turbine Signal Adapter BoardThis board conditions the low level analog signal from a turbine meter pickup for use with other equipment's digital inputs.
The low-level AC signal is amplified and squared. The squared signal drives an open collector transistor to provide a pulsed DC signal interface to the other equipment's digital input. This signal is referenced to the voltage supply common and will couple directly to an input requiring a sinking signal. A pull up resistor is necessary for inputs that require a sourcing signal. Each turbine signal cycle produces one output pulse.
