Bailey WAG Injection Controller Retrofit Kit

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. BWAG Bailey Replacement WAG Kit is designed to retrofit an existing 19" Rack Mount Baily INFI-90 WAG unit.

The BWAG is manufactured on a 19" x 21" hinged rack mount panel that fits into the existing enclosure. The retrofit kit is complete with a wiring harness, instructions and wiring diagrams, saving installation costs. The BWAG Kit uses standard off-the-shelf components to speed delivery. Field proved control valve operation programs are used to complete the package.

Water Injection Controller (WIC-II)

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. Water Injection Controller (WIC-II) is designed to monitor and control the injection of water at the wellhead and to monitor gas pressure and solar battery voltage levels. User configurable pressure and flow test programs are provided.

The WIC-II unit was developed specifically for injection well monitoring and control for oil field operations. It is fully configurable by the operator using an optional local interface, Personal Digital Assistant or portable computer. The unit is supplied with typical parameters ready for specific application tuning. Setup parameters may also be downloaded from a host computer. Software lockout notification provided by host and local interface.

Water Alternate Gas Injection Controller (WAG)

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. Water Alternate Gas (WAG) controller is designed to monitor and control the injection of water or carbon dioxide at the wellhead.

Control modes available include flow rate regulated with pressure limits and pressure control regulated with flow rate limits. Absolute value set points (above and below target range) or % dead band control valve operation models may be specified. User configurable pressure fall-off, step rate and step pressure test programs are provided.

The WAG unit was developed specifically for injection well monitoring and control for oil field operations. It is fully configurable by the operator using an optional local interface, Personal Digital Assistant or portable computer. The unit is supplied with typical parameters ready for specific application tuning. Setup parameters may also be downloaded from a host computer. A local / remote switch allows easy hardware access to the valve movement using toggle switches. Software lockout with notification provided by host and local interface.

Water Alternate Gas Injection Controller (WAG350)

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. Water Alternate Gas Injection Controller (WAG350) is designed to monitor and control the injection of water or carbon dioxide at the wellhead.

User configurable pressure fall-off, step rate and step pressure test programs are provided. The WAG350 controller is designed around our field proved WAG firmware and the Control Micro Systems SCADAPack® 350 controller. The unit utilizes the NIST14 density equations to provide more accurate real time flow measurement in connection with a turbine meter or wedge type meter. Control modes available to the user are rate and/ or pressure limited with associated high and low set points. New features include selectable override control actions which allow the preservation of line pack and tubing pressure during low supply pressure situations or supply line ruptures.

Water Alternate Gas Injection Controller (LP_WAG)

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. Water Alternate Gas Injection Controller (LP_WAG) is designed to monitor and control the injection of water or carbon dioxide at the wellhead.

User configurable pressure fall-off, step rate and step pressure test programs are provided. The LP_WAG controller is designed around our field proved WAG firmware and the Control Micro Systems SCADAPack® LP controller.

Water and WAG Injection Controllers

Enhanced oil recovery and extending the useful producing life of existing oil fields is a hot topic at the current oil prices. One of the methods to boost oil production in existing fields is to inject water or gas (carbon dioxide) into injection wells. This is generally considered to be a tertiary recovery method and is used after normal formation pressure and secondary techniques like gas re-injection and water floods have been used.

Flowing Well Controller (LP_FWC)

The Automation and Electronics, Inc. LP_FWCTM Flowing Well Production Controller is a marriage of the Control Micro Systems ScadaPackLP® and our field proved flowing well controller firmware. The LP_FWC provides the operator with the latest in wellhead and gathering system pressure control. Solar powered units with radios provide local control with remote monitoring and control capabilities.

The LP_FWC provides the operator with options that allow for maximum fluid transfer without depletion of well bore pressure. Control functions can be configured by the operator to control on a single pressure parameter with pressure override or a combination of tubing pressure and gathering system pressure. Associated alarm and shut in set points are available on all analog input parameters.

Shutdown control functions can be configured to latch in until reset manually by the operator or to resume normal operation when the condition requiring the shut in returns to normal. Features such as this keep fluid production at its peak while still protecting the pressure limits imposed.

The operator can configure control parameters locally using an optional interface, PDA or portable computer. This allows the unit to be used in a stand-alone role without the requirement of a SCADA System. When used as part of a SCADA system, control parameters can be set remotely via the communication channel.

Flowing Well Controller (FWC)

The FWC Flowing Well Controller is designed to regulate pressure and accumulate fluid flow at the wellhead.

The FWC prevents freeze up problems caused by rapid gas expansion while optimizing production flow. Solar powered units with radios provide local control with remote monitoring and control capabilities.

Step rate and step pressure tests are user configurable. Data logging and differential pressure alarms are available for well monitoring and control.

The FWC was developed specifically for flowing well monitoring and control. It is fully configurable by the operator using an optional local interface, PDA or portable computer. The unit is supplied with typical parameters ready for specific application tuning. Setup parameters may also be downloaded from a Host Computer. Lockouts with notification provided from host and local interface.

Flowing well control

Flowing well controllers regulate pressure and accumulate fluid flow totals at the wellhead. They prevent freeze up problems from rapid gas expansion while optimizing production flow. Step rate and step pressure tests provide well diagnostic information.
