Safety standards

Automation and Electronics puts our employee's safety first. All Automation and Electronics personnel have safety training, and carry appropriate safety gear for their projects. Our mine electrical construction teams carry Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) certification. Our oilfield electricians and technicians have hydrogen sulfide safety training, and carry all appropriate gas detection and self-rescue equipment. Most field personnel also complete the PEC SafeLand USA certification process.

Major projects

Automation and Electronics' major projects include water treatment plant design / build, oilfield SCADA systems, various utility projects and industrial process controls. Services offered include a full range of project planning, engineering, programming, integration, construction, acceptance testing and startup. A&E after market services include: inspection, troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance and system upgrades.

History

Automation and Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1956 by Mr. William Poe, an electrical engineer with Conoco Oil company. At that time, A&E had one goal in mind... to provide their industrial clientele with high quality products and services. As the company grew, so did its range of goods and services.
