Overview

Automation and Electronics, Inc. 608C Controller Board608C Controller BoardThe 608C SBC is an outgrowth of the 6008SX/ES series of intelligent RTUs which have been used for applications such as Pump Off Control and Water and/or Gas Injection control.

The 608C SBC is designed with a 16 bit processor, a real-time clock, and a mix of Input/Output channels that directly meet many application requirements. The I/O complement can be expanded through a smart port or RS-485 networked I/O cards. The 608C executes applications written in the C programming language. It fills the gap where a low cost, low power, intelligent remote controller is needed.

The 608C SBC is a completely self contained controller that communicates at 1200-19200 bps using AutoCom, Modbus, or custom protocols. It has sufficient power to handle applications such as pump-off control or AGA gas flow calculations. Low cost and high performance have been the design criteria. It is available with a 12 VDC Solar Power Package, or a 110 VAC power package.
